Draft Minutes

Call to Order: at 9:00 am Chairman Hooper

Roll Call: Geri Hockhalter and Tammy Hooper

Speaker: Senator John Barrasso

Quorum Report: Geri Hockhalter, 41 present, 17 proxies, for quorum.

Speaker: Kendall Krocker

Guests: Flip McConaughy, Robin Bailey

Approval of minutes: Motion: Ron Wild, Second: Karl Allred Approved.

Legal Report: Kevin Voyles and David Horning,

RNC logo: cannot be used by any person running after the Primary. It is a registered trade mark of the RNC. It can be a trademark violation and will be enforced by the RNC.

IRS issue: The questioned 2008 W-4 paperwork was delivered to the State office by Bruce Brown; they were filed and found at the bottom of the file cabinet in September. Bruce Brown did absolutely follow through on his duties as treasurer.

We are keeping up to date with all government employee filings.

David Horning, spoke on statuary procedure for resignation or death of an elected official. You must be a precinct committeeperson 30 days prior to the election of resigned to vote for the replacement.

Advised us all preprinted raffle tickets with a dollar amount on them are illegal. The State and County parties are not tax exempt. And you cannot gamble.

Treasurer’s report: Doug Chamberlain

$50,000.00 CD, after investigation Doug found out no current Ex. officers could sign for anything in regard to banking. He is working on straightening that out.

Motion: Wyoming Republican Party to adopt today signatures from, Doug Chamberlain, Tammy Hooper, Karen Hinchey and Richard Shanor to sign bank signature cards. Second: Clark Stith. Motion passed.

Motion: to approve moving bank accounts to Wells Fargo. Doug Chamberlain, Second: Bruce Brown. Motion approved.

Financial report: We currently have $252,143.89.

Motion: to approve treasurer’s report. Bruce Brown, second: Jim Pond. Motion approved.

Chairman’s remarks: Tammy Hooper, the Executive Director description is out. Currently most potential candidates for the position would be working for a candidate.

$12,000.00 has been given to various candidates.

The next SCC meeting is in Cheyenne, Wyoming on Feb. 8/9, 2013

Tammy is working on a Dick Cheney appreciation dinner.

April’s meeting is still open for application

Lorraine Quarberg gave a report on the beginning of County shares.

Greg Schaefer gave a report on the RNC convention.
